Community connections

We have a strong passion and compassion for our 414 neighborhood. Fulfilling the Great Commission begins on our street and expands to our community and then to the world. Each of these ministries is designed to help you overcome the challenges of life in your domestic church (family).

5:30 - Adult Choir (meets thru June 13)

6:30 - GriefShare, Strength to Love, available during the summer (No children, preschool activities)

6:30 - Breakthru for Youth - (meets thru May 30)

  • adult General Session - The book of Revelation

    This general session study is led by  Nick Watts.

    Meets in the Worship Center.  General session returns August 22nd.

  • Women's study

    Women's study - If you are interested in an off campus gathering during the summer, email womensministry@baconheights.com for details.  Options will begin in June.


  • grief share   - SUMMER OPTION

    This friendly group of caring people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. You'll gain valuable resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life. 

    Starts: Wednesday May 2nd

    Runs: Every Wednesday through July 25th

    Cost:  $10 (Scholarships available)

    Led by Tom & Diane Heath 

    Meets in Bergstrom Hall (enter through Door D - 53rd St. NE corner of the church.)

    No Child Care will be provided.

  • Strength To Love

    Do you have a loved one who has made difficult life decisions?   Do you feel alone as you face that struggle? Find comfort in this caring group of individuals who have walked this path.  This group for men and women will encourage you as you manage hard choices while continuing to love your child and pray them back to wholeness.  

    Meets off campus. Find more info and location here. For the summer, meetings will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, beginning May 16th.

  • divorce care

    You will learn how to face the pain and stress of separation and divorce and move toward rebuilding your life.  The leaders in this group setting have a real concern for those going through a divorce and are examples of the healing and restoration that can occur after the breakup of a marriage. Cost:  $10 (Scholarships available).  

    Led by Isaias & Sonya Martinez. 

    Class will resume in the Fall.

  • English as a Second Language (ESL)

    Learn beginning and intermediate English for everyday use.  This class will meet on Sundays at 3 pm beginning Jan. 7, 2018.  Meets in Rm 129.
