Community connections

We have a strong passion and compassion for our 414 neighborhood. Fulfilling the Great Commission begins on our street and expands to our community and then to the world. Each of these ministries is designed to help you overcome the challenges of life in your domestic church (family).

Wednesday Evening schedule:  (August 30 - November 29)

5:30 - Adult Choir (begins August 30)

6:30 - All ministries begin (adult, youth, children, preschool)

7:45 - All ministries end

New!  Conversation in the Commons.  The Commons will be open at 5:0 pm each Wednesday for fellowship.  Bring a sack supper and connect with other members. Children's classes start at 6:30 pm.

  • adult General Session - The Case for Christ

    This general session study is led by  Nick Watts, Worship Pastor. Topics vary and include Bible study and biblical responses to current cultural issues.  The first four sessions will be "The Case For Christ" study.  No registration required. Meets in the Worship Center.

    Due to high interest in this class, we are making plans to record these sessions and make them available on our Youtube page.

  • Equipping and Training

    Led by Mike Lewis and Lead Pastor, Jason Atchley.  Discover various channels of church leadership and service and receive ideas about how you can grow and serve.  

    Meets in Lower Level 9.

  • Women on Wednesdays (WOW)

    Women's gathering - various topics, leaders and activities each week.  Connect, fellowship, and grow together in the Lord as we navigate this journey called LIFE!  

    Meets in Bergstrom Hall.

  • grief share   - (2 Options)

    This friendly group of caring people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. You'll gain valuable resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life. 

    Cost:  $10 (Scholarships available)

    Led by Jim & Judy Gerlt. 

    Meets in Annex 3 - 5109 54th St.

  • Strength To Love

    Do you have a loved one who has made difficult life decisions?   Do you feel alone as you face that struggle? Find comfort in this caring group of individuals who have walked this path.  This group for men and women will encourage you as you manage hard choices while continuing to love your child and pray them back to wholeness.

  • divorce care (class is closed for fall 2017)

    You will learn how to face the pain and stress of separation and divorce and move toward rebuilding your life.  The leaders in this group setting have a real concern for those going through a divorce and are examples of the healing and restoration that can occur after the breakup of a marriage. Cost:  $10 (Scholarships available).  

    Led by Isaias & Sonya Martinez.

  • Financial Peace University (class is closed for fall 2017)

    Learn proven methods to pay off your debt, save for the future and create a budget that doesn't feel like a straight jacket! You will learn the seven baby steps to financial confidence and freedom!

    Workbook - $110.  Scholarships available. 

    Led by Matt & Emily Green.

  • English as a Second Language (ESL)

    Learn beginning and intermediate English for everyday use.  This class will meet on Sundays at 3 pm beginning Sept. 10.  Meets in Rm 129.
